Local and Vocal is a program on JOY 94.9 dedicated to local and independent Australian music. It started up in December 2006 with Melbourne group The Little Stevies as feature artists, and many fabulous musicians and groups have followed in their footsteps. There's no specific genre of music on the program, as long as it's Aussie and decent.
